Subject: Sleazing - what is it really?

I have to say I REALLY agree with the previous poster. I am NINETY-NINE
percent sure that this is what FASA intended to say. I would ask them, but
I still haven't gotten a reply from any of my other questions (patience,
Rob, patience!).

I really believe that cards that prevent sleazing, only prevent sleazing
from the natual ability to posses all the skills. That makes these cards
balanced, but very mean. Cards like Gut Check, and Ghouls bring up an
intersting question. For instance, the rules say that once the alarm is
triggered, the runners may not sleaze a challenge (pg 59). However, Gut
Check says "1-3: The shadowrun is over. 4+ Gut Check is sleazed." What
happens if the alarm has already been triggered and you roll a 5? According
to the 'rules', you can't sleaze the challenge and it's all over. Dumb, and
makes no sense.

What about the sleep spell. Roll, and on a 4+ any Personal or Awakened
challenge is sleazed. It no longer works when the alarm has been
triggered!?!? I dunno. This sound very fishy to me. I REALLY think that
FASA intended to say "can not be sleazed in the normal manner by use of
skills". If anyone has an in with FASA, forward them this message. They
seem to be behind in replying to my mail.

Cheers everyone!!!
Rob
