Tournament Play :
I think that we as a group should start discussing what we would like
to see in tournament play. Do we like the idea of starting with a
four person game and then moving to one-on-one in the finals? What
about cards that should be banned or futher restricted? We could then
let the boys at FASA know what we want and do not want. Maybe we
could come up with ideas that they did not. IMHO it's better than
bitchin about it after the rules come out.
Card of the _______ :
I would like to see Loki pick a card of the week or day and we can
discuss all of the pros and cons of it. Maybe Loki could choose three
cards every week. Because not all of us have boring enough jobs that
we have enough time to think up this stuff and check our e-mail every
few minutes.
Deck Construction :
What themes work? What card type ratios do you use in your deck?
Any cards that are a must have in any deck?
Combos and Combo Killers :
Has anyone thought up any good ones? What cards can be used to stop
these combos?
These are just a few ideas and questions that may spark some threads
other than rules Q&A ones. (not that rules Q&A is bad, it's much
needed)
I am going to answer my own questions in a different post(s). When
and if you answer any of these questions maybe add the following in
the subject lines.
[TOURN] = for tournament threads
[COW] = for Card of the week or [COD] for card of the day which
ever Loki or we decide.
[DECKCON] = for deck construction
[COMBO] = for combos
This way it makes it a little bit easier to follow.
Hmm... after rereading this before I send it, it seems like it could
be interpreted as me telling you what to talk about. Please do not
think this, I am just throwing some ideas out.
