I tend to agree with the first option. If Torgo isn't there to pulled
out of the challenge for combating the beastie, I don't see that he
was there to trigger the alarm either.
I personally feel that stingers like GAQS played after a challenge is
revealed should be dealt with before figuring skill sleazing or other
effects of the challenge.
