I tend to play a freebie/fame deck with a bunch of specials and challenges,
so money has never been a problem for me. However, since you all seem to
have agreed that he works that way, he's back in my deck. :)

THis was another rule made to stop another tourny type deck I made, that
had a fairly decent chance of prodcing the effect (I was fortunate - or
unfortunate enough - to recieve 3 stun Gloves and 4 Lord Torgos in my
booster boxes) rather quickly, while stalling my opponents with major
challenges and specials.

We chalked it up to a typo (the 1Y thing), and just because you have a
thick hide doesn't mean that a rusty scalple isn't going to mess you
up.... :)

All your other comments either had vast support from the other list or
I just didn't have a comment/defence for our weird card interpritations.
