He could send a "free pizza" to one of the runners houses, and have it
tainted with Ex-Lax, giving the runner the green-apple quicksteps. ;-)

Seriously though, the stingers are really just reflecting those nasty twists
of fate that happen to runners.

So if you really want to break it down you play ...
1 - A Fixer who assembles runners for runs.
2 - The runners that go on those runs.
3 - The corps/other things that defend those runs (when you place challenges
and objectives)
4 - Fate - with cards like Whoops! and GAQs

Don't think too hard about what you "are" it's a card game man! ;-)
