Here's the info off the spoiler list:

Heavy Armor (full)
Type: Gear
Description: Gear/Armor
Notes: 6¥. User receives Armor +2. Trash Heavy Armor (Full) to avoid
all damage taken in combat.

Not necessarily true. A situation like this could be handled like
damage from a basilisk or hellhound which is applied to a single
runner and the excess just evaporates into a metaplane or something.
The following is from the FASA FAQ 2.0 (beta):

~~~~~~~~~~
Q. The damage inflicted by Basilisk ( which has a Threat rating of
6/5) must be applied to a single Runner, but the rulebook says that
you can't assign an amount of damage to a Runner higher than the
Runner's current body. If my Runner has a Body of 5 or less, what do
I do with the extra damage?
A. Nothing. Cards like Basilsik are an exception to the rule.
Hellhound, Manticore and Killer Drone work the in the same way.
I'd agree that trashing the armor would only save you from the damage
the runner could reasonably take. Damage that would take his body to
zero would kill the runner and another ruling from FASA (Ceska) has
shown a dead runner cannot trash gear to use it's special ability,
save for the Stim Patch.
Again I'd agree with you. Still, this is just MHO.
I'll pass it along to FASA and see what we get back.
