It becomes whining when he starts repeating himself by saying several times
that "This card sucks and is pissing me off bacause I don;t agree with it
and the designers."

Fine, he doesn't agree. He says it once, that's all that needs said. he
doesn't need to tell everyone so often.

I've read them all. And basically it all boiled down to 2 poinst of view.
One that said that GAQS had to be used BEFORE the Objective was revealed,
and one that said it could be used AFTER.

Now, this was a valid disagreement, and I agree that before the DL'sOH
ruled on this, it was confusing and badly defined, though we seem to have
ahd it figured out from the beginning. However, it has been defined since
then, and Jim and Mike's response since than has been understandable. it's
not too difficult to understand how it works, and yet even after they
explain it everyone still complains taht it's badly defined. Not sure WHY
they think that though...

It've VERY simple. The Shadowrun Phase breaks into a series of smaller
phases, which GAQS can be played in between any of those phases.

PHASES:

A. Decided to perform a Shadowrun, or approach the next Challange.

B. Challenge is flipped and read to both players.

C. Running player attempts to sleaze. If Sleaze fails, continue to D,
otherwise Pull Out of the Run or go Phase A. and continue.

D. Since sleaze failed, you must confront the challenge. If you fail,
return to the safe house. If you beat it, either pull out or go to A and
continue if there are remaining challenges. If there are no more
challenges, and you wish to approach the Objective, go to E.

E. Face and beat the Objective Requirements, if there are any.

This seems to be exactly how they've said to play the Phase, and
consequently, GAQS, and this is how we've been playing it since day one.

So...

Where's teh problem that makes GAQS so awe-inspiring and fearful that all
the world should tremble when it's played, and FASA should create a Time
Machine to travel backwards in time and destroy this card before it was
ever released.

In case you can't tell, that was sarcasm. Guess I'm just tired of seeing
everyone complain about this silly nonsense. Don;t overthink the card and
the rules. they're simple, they work well. And I still have yet to see
how this is such a Killer Card. You give me proof taht it's a total game
breaker, then you'll have a convert and I'll work alongside ya'll to get
the card banned or whatever. But until then, I think you're all cracked.

((BTW: One instance where you lost the game cause you're whole team dies
cause you lost one guy doesn;t count, and if this happens everygame, then
you need to seriously rethink your playing style, cause you're relying WAY
too much ona single runner.))
