What I gathered from people who did is that it works totally
different with the RPG.

:-) True.
And I stipulate that the game initially can't be too complex, or it might
scare people away (and suffer the fate of briljant CCG's like Jihad and
Guardians).
I would not be at all surprised if cyberware and cyborgs will
feature prominently in an expansion...
