Subject: How do you play Harlequin's Game?
Date: Thu, 25 Sep 1997 00:47:57 CDT
I was just making another deck (I tend to rotate decks quite often) and
while doing so, I was reminded of one of the questions I sent to
FASA awhile ago that I never got an answer about.

What does Harlequin's Game mean when it stated "No Special Cards may
be played to affect a shadowrun against Harlequin's Game"?

At first we just played that Loaded dice couldn't be used to effect the
die roll at the end, then we expanded to prevent any specials like GAQs
to be played during a run. I sent an email a month or so ago to FASA
asking if it also prevented specials that are played against the
objective (such as Lowfyr's Schemes and False Mentor). We figured it
would be true for both cases, but were wondering how you played it.

The Theory behind False Mentor is that the shadowrun phase doesn't end
until the reputation points are given out.

How do you guys play this card?

I'm going to go through some old notes over the next day and see if I
can remember other questions I have sent to FASA and have yet to
get rulings for....
