It's really an inside joke for list members that came to SRCard from
ShadowRN.
A cybered woodchuck was the topic of the worst, longest running
off-topic thread on the ShadowRN list. It got to the point where the
thread was just blatantly slap-happy but refused to die.
Now the quasi-mythological rodent is kind of the love/hate mascot of
that list.
