Sounds a little complicated...

I'd like to play something less like a "team" game than a "trust no
one, but act cooperatively" game. How about:

When a player declares that he is making a shadowrun, he taps^H^H^Hurns
the runners he's sending. Each player (clockwise) may make a proposal
to the current player - each proposal will consist of a group of runners
for a given reputation award. The current player may accept or reject
any or all proposals.

If the objective is reached, the current player "pays" each
participating player the agreed upon reputation.

Backstabbing:
Normally, a group of runners can only intercept an unprotected run.
During a shared run, however, a player may declare a backstab before
encountering the next challenge. The next challenge must be
encountered.
The current player then engages in runner-runner combat with the
backstabber.

Both teams must then encounter all subsequent challenges simultaneously
(ie. Chomps 2000 would send both groups home), challenges that are
fragged
or trashed are only fragged or trashed after both teams have encountered
them.

If no more challenges remain, the two teams again engage in
runner-runner
combat. If one team is eliminated, the other may encouter the
objective.
If the current player encounters the objective, they do not have to pay
any backstabbing players any reputation.

Could use a bit of polishing, I suppose, but that's the gist of it.
