the promos? I live in LA and so had a lot of places to find them. I just have not seen
very many people asking for them. Should they be seen as just rare cards? Maybe less then
rare? Or more then rare?

In Boston, all the issues of Inquest had Hatchetman 2057 and, so far,
all the issues of Scrye have had Foxy Roxy. I've checked about half a
dozen places, too (sigh). Scrye actually hasn't hit a few places yet
(Borders, or any large bookshop).

As far as rarity, I expect them to go up after they're out of print.
Honestly, Fuchi and NERPS are the most valuable to me, followed by Foxy
Roxy and Adam Bomb; Hatchetman '57 is pretty weak, all things told.

Much as I didn't like the idea of proo cards for MtG, I'm rather hoping
these cards *don't* get reprinted in the next expansion.

Here's a thought: save some cash, go dumpster diving. Retailers only
have to tear off the front cover (which is returned to the distributor
for credit); the bulk of the mag is thrown out once it's past it's shelf
life (or, really, when the next ish comes in.) Free cards! - if they
don't lock the dumpster or call a security detail on you.

This information offered for entertainment value only, of course - I
take no responsibility for any individual who acts on my hypnotic
suggestions.

Last thought: If I were FASA, I wouldn't be diddlying around with this
"next expansion set tentatively called" blet at all. If I were to do a
CCG, I'd have the next year's worth of expansions (call it three)
already written up by the time the basic set hits the public; -- or more
likely, one that's finishing playtest and going to print; one that's
entering playtest, and one that's being drafted. Gives everything a bit
more flexibility and allows for input from the World Out There.

Just me, rambling.

Whirrr...
