Here's some more Q&A and a message I wanted to pass on from Jim N.

~~~~~~~~~~
Loki,
FYI: Mike and I were discussing the amount of "rulings" we've had to
make and how we've made them. The very nature of our jobs (and all of
the non-SRTCG-related tasks that we are asked to do) precludes us from
being able to discuss each and every question we answer. Because of
this, the answers we give to e-mailed questions are essentially given
"off the top of our heads".
What this means is that these answers are semi-official in nature. They
are intended to express to you how we, the designers of the game, are
using cards in our own games. Hopefully these answers provide you with
practical solutions to the problems you encounter in your own games.
However, the only rulings that are absolutely final and official are
those that end up in the official FAQ.
I mention this because, as you know, we want to avoid a situation
where every answer we give is considered a final ruling that causes
debate among players. We do want to use the FAQ to give final answers
to legitimate questions. We don't want to create a situation where, by
taking the time to answer e-mail, we sabotage the fun of the game by
making it too inflexible.
The bottom line is this: we want to answer questions ASAP so people
can play the game. However, until we've had the chance to seriously
take the time to consider our answers and decide on a final ruling,
nothing is written in stone. The official FAQ is the only "final word"
and we will update as often as we can . I hope you and the other
people on the SRTCG Mailing List understand our position.
Now on to the questions:
Q. Can Riggers/Shamans swap Drones/Spirits like other gear? How about
swapping spells between mages?
A. Yes to all of the above.
Q. Just to clarify, providing I have the nu yen, I'm able use the
Bounty Hunter on multiple members of a team that just pulled out of a
shadowrun. I just have to roll for each in turn. Correct?
A. Well...I don't think that's how Mike intended the card to be used
because it says "...any Runner" (singular). I'm going to have to check
with him on this one as it's the first time it's come up.
Q. The card text for Nerps! says that once I use it to copy a gear
card I treat Nerps! as an exact duplicate of that card." A question
arised that does the 3 nu yen deployment cost also cover putting that
gear on a Runner? For example, if I Nerps! a copy of the Bulldog Van
for 3 nu yen can I now just give it to Red Widow, or do I still need
to pay the normal 4 nu yen deployment cost for a Bulldog Van to give
it to her?
A. The only cost you pay is the 3Y to deploy Nerps!
Q. Again consider that when you Nerps! a copy of a piece of gear says
to "treat Nerps! as an exact duplicate of that card." Let's say I
Nerps! a copy of the Bulldog Van, is Nerps! now a Gear/Vehicle card or
is it still a Special? In other words, two turns later could my
opponent now try to get rid of the Nerps! Bulldog via Luck of the
Irish or a Wabbit's Foot?
A. Yes. It's treated as a copy of the Gear card, not as a Gear card.
Jim N.
