During the run, the runner take 3 damages .Then he must be trashed but
if I trash the Doc Wagon does it means that:

I think it's the second (the runner is mine!) but my opponent said it's

I'm pretty sure that it IS the second. I think the words "user takes
only one damage" are probably supposed to mean "takes a total of only
one damage".
