Woefully insufficient? Hardly. I have yet to read a CCG rulebook that
answered all of the possible card uses. Just about every good CCG has
a rather long list of card errata and FAQs, because:

1. The people that play them really care about the game.
2. People are actually playing the game to find some interesting
situations / confusing card combinations.
3. Play testers probably didn't read the rulebook to learn how to play
because they were taught by the designers. When the rulebook is
finally written, they already understand the rules so it seems like
everything is covered.

If it was well made it would be nice, since having a bound version of
the errata and FAQs are always useful.
