Again, Renraku would not affect Maglocks this way and automatically
stop the run.

Renraku
Type: Location
Description: 3¥. Corporate (HQ). Roll D6 whenever an Electrical
Challenge is revealed. On 4+, that Challenge may not be sleazed this
turn.

Skill sleazing and card text sleazing are two different things. Cards
that prevent sleazing refer to the skill requirement for sleazing a
challenge, card text selazing is still permitted. A 4+ roll on Renraku
means that a given electrical challenge (i.e. - Sentry Gun) may not be
skill-sleazed. The sleaze for a Maglock is in the card text, so you'd
still get to guess a number(s) no matter the roll on Renraku.

This came up when similar situations were discussed (i.e. Motion
Detectors or Red Alert w/ a Gut Check.) The following is a FASA
repsonse in our Game Q&A:

Q. Is there a difference between the skill requirement for sleazing a
challenge and alternate choices to "sleaze" as listed in the card text
(i.e. - Gut Check or Feeding Ghouls)? If not then a combination like a
triggered Motion Detectors (or a Red Alert) and then a Gut Check could
effectivley form a dead lock with very few options to get past it.

A. Once Motion Detectors and Red Alert are played, Challenges cannot
be sleazed. However, cards like Feeding Ghouls and Gut Check! are,
indeed, an exception to this. As you point out, not being able to get
past Gut Check! on a successful roll makes no sense (and we are
counting on people to use some common sense in such situations. We
don't want the game to become as convoluted as Magic can be.)

Sleep spell would also work against Objectives defended by Red Alert
and Motion Detectors.

Fastjack
Type: P-Runner
Description: Decker
Notes: 7/1Y. Decking-4, Technical-4. 1/3. 4Y: Runner team may look at
all Challenges on an Objective and choose the order in which to
encounter them.

Interesting question. The above is from the Spoiler List on Paolo's
site, I don't have my binder at work tonite. From the above it says 4Y
lets the Runner Team look at the challenges and decided the order. To
me this implies it's not matrix specific. In that light I'd say his
special still works on a closed or custom system.
