3. DISCLAIMERS
SRTCG, Shadowrun, and the Matrix, are property of the FASA Corporation.
Thanks to them for giving us something to keep our brains thinking. (Buy the
cards, make the Mikes happy!)

By nature of the topic of this list (cyberpunk fiction and role-playing), it
should be warned that discussions often contain violent, sexual or adult
themes, as well as anarchistic political discussions. The responsibility
(blame?) for each posting falls entirely into the hands of the original
poster. The listowners, postmaster, and the iTribe administration assume no
liability for the contents of postings.

You *may* put a link to the FAQ page :
http://coastnet.com/~dvixen/srtcg.html or to any of the pages that the FAQ's
are located (.../srtcg/tcgfaq1.html, tcgfaq2.html, tcgfaq3.html) or their
text counterparts. But you may *not* put a separate copy on your web site.
The Admins and the FAQ Flunky are not responsible for those twonks who put
incorrect or out of date FAQ's for the mailing list on their own sites.)

4. POSTING GUIDLINES

4.A Quoting Previous Posts
Only quote what directly related to your reply. (Take out .sig files,
excess so-and-so wrote on date: messages, and other things that have nothing
to do with your post.) But *do* leave in something that will give the
readers a hint of what you are talking about... Please put your reply after
the text they refer to, editing the bits that don't have anything to do with
your reply.

4.B Flaming
As a general guideline, DON'T. Giving advice, and correcting someone is one
thing, going off on a torque because you don't agree is another thing. Honey
works better than vinegar.

4.C Subject lines
If you are posting a list of cards you are looking for, please include your
name/handle as part of the subject line. (e.g.: Dvixen's Trade List, Lady
Jestyr's Looking for list....)

4.D Trading cards
If there is a post that has cards you want to trade for, take it off the
list. This is now considered a private conversation, and the rest of the
list is not interested in reading your personal mail. ;o)

4.E Selling cards
For the time being, posting lists of cards to sell is being discouraged. If
you are looking to sell, or buy, you may post to the list of your
intentions, but any following posts *must* be taken to private email. Do
*not* post a list of cards and prices.

4.F Off Topic Posts [OT]
Those annoying discussions that have nothing at all to do with the card
game. Please, take them off list as soon as possible, before the list owners
decide your account needs to be deleted from the list.

4.G Posting formats.
Please, please post only in straight, plain text. No html, no attachments,
nothing but plain simple easy to read text.

4.H In character posts
As a general rule, (lots of those, aren't there?) *Don't*. If you want to
post stuff in character, ITRIBE has PLOTD and SHADOWTK for that. The only
thing you'll accomplish with In character/hacker/slang posts, is pissing off
the other listmembers.

Disclaimer

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
