The Fat Man's nuyen cost is indeed.. fat. Unfortunately, you can never
tell just how useful he is, because you never know what you're opponent
will play - that's his greatest weakness (le sigh).
But - ignoring chance and sensibility - what combos are there?
Stiletto and the Eyekiller challenge - suddenly they *will* bump into
the Eyekiller. Similarly, in a cooperative game, you can bolster your
friend's team stealthiness to slip them past a challenge. This works
with Tin Man/Marek/Clutch et al. as well.
Security Consultant/Blindsided and any pumpable Challenge - duh.
"Pumping off" the +/- pumpers to trash them (works well with
Tactics:Converge). Unfortunately, not many people tend to play these
guys, anyway.
And.. ummm.. that's about all I can pry out of my skull.
Making the Fat Man able to pay any costs leads to some confusing issues
(if I pay Highbrow's cost, does he turn? Whose deck? etcet).
FWIW, there are some other "homebrew" Runners with other pumpable costs
(besides the fairly standard +x/+x) on both my and Forrest's webpages.
