Being one of the two (three?) out there, I'd love to hear your comments
(privately, if you want).

This is a cool version. Not the *biggest* heap of Rep, but that just
makes you want to run with him more often...

Erp! *Far* too big a bonus. (Four Skags and a Caesar, say - that's 15Y
for four 9/10s and a 8/9, in the safehouse or our of it. The only
chance you have is to knock them off in single combat -- ie, if you
don't have a Bar Fight, tough.)

*Shrug* It kind of makes sense; to be honest, I usually use it in decks
with lots of mages anyway (keeps the Bar Fights and Riots away). I'd
suppose Physads should be added to that list.

Strangely enough, while a *lot* of people have complained about Torgo,
I've never found him to be a problem card at all.

Yeah, just reading the card makes you think of Torgo zapping ten or
twelve elves, and then going on a massive run all by himself, but
reality never goes that way. Running and using the special power are
exclusive; in most decks, it means turning Torgo to nail one rather puny
elf, when you could've gone on a run with him. (Against my Elf Horde
deck, no one has *ever* been able to bring out a Torgo, and I've played
a lot of different Torgo decks.)

Not to mention there are ways of forbidding Torgo's power - McDeven, the
Crawler - and ways of thwarting it - DocWagon Gold works wonders. His
upkeep means, at any rate, you're only knocking off one or two a round
at best. Said with a smiley - I'm one of those guys with the most at
risk from him.

4 upkeep?! For a guy with even more problems than Torgo (add Infected
Chrome and Cyber-Psychosis to the usual suspects), that's an awful,
awful lot. I could see him having a /1 upkeep; that's about it.

Umm.. it already is. Unless you have the playtest version (ie, went to
Gencon).

Hey, welcome to the group, too.

Looking for Boston-area players....
