Exactly. Going back to my favorite example:

Bull, Dvixen and myself are playing SRTCG with our new found demo
decks at Gen Con. There is an Objective out and a dryspell has kept
any of us from getting a challenge on it.

It is my turn. I forgo taking nuyen to draw cards, but still can't
pull out a challenge. Now if I run on the Objective, Dvixen gets first
choice to intercept me since she owns the Objective. If she passes,
then Bull has a choice. The catch is that if either chooses to
intercept me, then no other interceptions can be done on this Objective.

See how the strategy plays out? If I choose to run, I can be pretty
certain that one of them would intercept. Since I couldn't get any
Challenges down that may protect the Objective that would mean Bull
(who goes after I do) would be able to waltz right in and take it. I
would be giving the Objective to him. This may well keep me from
choosing to run on this particular Objective.

Now lets say I did have my two Challenges on this Objective. Something
like a Maglock followed by Corpselight, plus I'm holding a Wild Goose
Chase that I can play to more or less assure neither of my opponents
can complete the run on their turns. I might try to run and force them
to intercept me. Then, if neither can get a Challenge in place before
my time comes back around, I can walk right in on my next turn and
grab the rep.

Does this help clear things up a bit?
