Subject: Sorry! Now to add value, a Mage Deck for people to critique
Date: Tue, 9 Dec 1997 15:25:38 -0500
Sorry for responding to the list with trade issues.

To make up for it, here is a mage deck for everyone to critique. I made
this just 'cause I thought the cards were cool (the main reason to play,
right? ), and was pleasantly surprised to see that the deck is actually
quite powerful, if a little slow. The sleaze potential is very high.

Hermetic Library is one of the more powerful cards, when combined with a
Watcher spirit. Use the Watcher to look at the top card of _your_ deck,
then use Hermetic Library if it is a runner!

Runners (19 - lots of different ones to maximize sleazing, average cost
is 4.16 Nuyen):
Dante
Jackyl (2)
Nightshade
Shade
Thrash (2)
Hawkwind
Scarecrow (3)
Wishbone (2)
Dr. Apocalypse
Marek
Moon Shadow
Skag
Tempest
Titan

Gear (17 - lots of spells and spirits):
Ally Spirit (2)
Invisibility
Streetline Special (4)
Watcher Spirit (2)
Armor Spell (2)
Fireball (2)
Nature Spirit (2)
Sleep
Bullet Barrier

Contacts (2):
Media Chick
Talismonger

Locations (2):
Hermetic Library (2)

Objectives (8 - match my strengths):
Haunted Highrise (4)
Critter Hunt
Site of Power (only beneficial if it shows up later in the game, once I
am stronger)
Tiki Head Enigma (2)

Challenges (18 designed mostly to maintain a magical theme, but also
powerful to slow down opponents):
Corpselight
Maglocks (3)
Mine Field
Nets
Chomps (2)
hunting Gargoyles (2)
Knight Errant Guards
Mage Strike Force (2)
Toxic Spirit (2)
Astral Sentry
Incubus (2)

Stingers (5):
Deja Vu
Green Apple Quicksteps (2)
Moonlighting
False Mentor

Specials (1)
Nerps

Again, sorry for the bad post. Hopefully we can get some good ideas
from this and I've made up for the list violation.

Take care,

Teos.
