Did you ever post that ruling? I never saw the original, and would like
to see it. More comments follow:

At this point, your Tempest is dead! (Tempest takes one when he
inflicts damage, then suffers 2 from riots!). Turned runners can not
inflict damage, but can take damage.

I know what you are thinking. I have played a bunch of different ways,
and it seems like every month we change how we play to keep up with the
rule explanations. (I actually like this; innovation brings new ideas).
However, your Knuckles could not turn (either time) to help Tempest as
Knuckles is not present. On a run, Knuckles would be present and could
take the damage intended for Tempest, saving him.
