I run a pretty nasty mage deck, and riots is a chronic problem. Best way
to defeat it is to keep 4 Luck of the Irish in, and maybe even a Rabbit's
Foot for good measure. My deck has 20 challenges, 17 mages/shamans, 11
spells, 8 spirits, and 4 specials (luck of irish). I dont use any
equipment or locations.. 4 Hawkwind is good for this deck if you can manage
it; she is only 3 nuyen and is so worth it.. :)
Incidentally, another secret to a good mage deck is running your own
objectives. Site of Power, Tiki Head Enigma, and the Poltergeist one
(can't remember the name) are great for mage decks.
One question totally off the topic - I hear a lot of people talking about
GenCon. Is SR going to have a tourny there or anything? And what city is
it in?
