Just to finish (hopefully) this topic off, not only does the card intend
to say that Skwaaaaark can only use cyberware (which he gets free), but
the rulebook says the following: "Gear cards can only be played on
runners who posess the required skills." (p. 53) It also says that both
runners that swap gear must have the required skills to use the gear. I
think the spirit of the rules is quite obvious here, and that Skwaaaaark
can not be used to distribute free gear to the other runners.

I have a deck that uses lots of indirect fire bows and guns, and I often
swap gear to give the indirect fire weapons to guys like Thrash that I
expect to leave behind on a run.
