I agree. Gear is Gear. I'm not a big proponent of letting the fiction
creep too far into your head when playing the game. If you think about
the universe you're playing in, that makes the game more fun. However,
if you start thinking too logically about how each card would/should
work in the context of that universe it can lead to trouble (like all of
these questions about which weapons and situations are considered
"silenced").
