Greetings to the List

First of all I wanted to say Hi
I've been watching the posts for a while and think I have a an idea to
post.

This question was recently posted

That's probably why there's a Silencer card. I think that if FASA had intended the Katana
to be a slienced weapon, the card would say so. Also, a katana or a set of Hand Razors
doesn't necesarilly seem like it would be a quiet way to kill somebody.<

I agree, that melee weapons are not considered silenced. But how about
this for a new skill. In the RPG there are Physical Adepts that can
attack with a minimal amount of noise. Perhaps this could be a new type
of skill.

Physad: Runner using melee weapons may consider them silenced. Runner
may not use gear/cyberware cards.

Of course, this describes only one side of PhysAds in the RPG, but it is
a thought.

A second option is to simply allow runners with both melee and stealth
to
use melee weapons as if they were silenced.

Just some of my thought on the subject.
