combat damage (at which point a shaman can use a spirit to replace his own

I'm taking the fifth on that.

Chllenges that assign damage to runners is simple and clear.
However Hellhound and Killer drone etc. say all their combat damage must be
given to 1 runner. I am suggesting that the damage goes to one runner but
doesn't neccessarily mean to the runner's body (shouldn't you be able to
use a spirit/drone?). The cards clearly mean that the damage from them
(hellhound/killerdrone/basilisk) all go to one place, can't that place be a
spirit/drone?
