Yes, I know I have been laying low for a few months here. And I know
it's been a long time since I posted an answer to a real question, but I
thought I would dedicate a little time to the list. :)

As far as I can tell, not all the Prime Runners are from the novels. I
think the main criteria for deciding PR's is there "importance" or
"popularity" in the Shadowrun game. For example, Hatchetman has been in
a whole bunch of sourcebooks and big time in Cybertechnology (he gets
"cyborged" in it in 2057), but I don't think he appears in any novels.
So I guess they picked runners who showed up a lot in any and all of the
Shadowrun products.

Here's a rundown of Prime Runners and where I can trace them from....
(I haven't read a few of the early novels, Never Trust and Elf in
particular, so bear that in mind. There may be more, but I think all the
ones I listed are accurate.)

Da Profezzur: ??? (Somebody help me out here.)
Dirk Montgomery: 2XS and House of the Sun
Dodger: Secrets of Power Trilogy
Fastjack: Night's Pawn and I think a few early ones
Ghost Who Walks: Secrets of Power Trilogy
Jack Skater: Preying for Keeps
Kham: Secrets of Power Trilogy and Never Trust and Elf
Lord Torgo: Shadowrun Companion Sourcebook (not a novel I know)
Ravage: Fade to Black
Sally Tsung: Secrets of Power Trilogy
Scatter: Never Trust an Elf (???), (I heard she was related to Kham)
Wheeler: ???
Hatchetman 2057: A whole bunch of sourcebooks, but definitely
Cybertechnology, which describes his descent into "cyborgness"

Hope this helps. I hope to post a little more frequently in the future
here.

Next post: who's missing....

Tony
