You know, ther only drawback to a Maria Mercurial card would be that I
don't know if the could license the Sorayama artwork again, and she
may not look as delicious as the cover on the module.

Here's a snippit from Maria's Bio in Cast of Characters at the back of
the module.

Maria is in her mid-20's. Indentured at an early age to Aztechnology,
her notable beauty attracted the lecherous eye of Reynaldo
Texamachach, a snior exec. He had her modified by Chiba cyber-artist
Soyarama, and installed her as his companion to fulfill the offices of
bodyguard, secretary, and mistress.

Texamachach addicted Maria to custom dreamchips in order to control
her. When she killed him and fled, she also cut herself off from the
source of the chips. To blunt the withdrawl from the chips, she
turned to regular BTLs, abuse that seriously affected her brain cells.
By the time Maria entered therapy with Dr. Kenner, she was suffering
from severe personality disorders. Though therapy helped her to kick
the BTL habit, she has permanently lost almost all memory of her life
before therapy. and is subject to profound personality changes.

She is not, however, a case of classic "split personality." Maria is
always in control of her actions, and when her personality changes,
she retains all memory of her actions under the previous personality.
She has three personas: Amazon, School-mistress, and Innocent.
