Ancients HQ adds to the bike's armor itself so it's not being
cumulative with a different source. You'd still get the 3 points of
armor as the Rapier is jacked up to a A+3. However it wouldn't be
cumulative with other Armor cards: Coat, Vest, Full Armor... Dermal
Plating is iffy as it's not keyworded as Armor (hence Tink is able to
use it) it may or may not combine with a Rapier.

IMHO the rapier is not cumulative with Gear/Armor cards and thus would
work with Dermal Plate.

This is why I use the Scorpions, then I don't have to worry about that
little "not cumulative" cause. Plus I have the Red Widows for the join
a run on a whim manuever.
