I may be wrong, but I don't think so. The way I understand it, nothing can
be done *during* combat. Damage is assigned and then you can respond to it.
Unfortunately, by then your runners have already taken the damage, a runner
w/ zero body would be dead. Sorta like you cannot go into combat, assign
the damage, and then decide to use a drug token or pump your tinman.
Everything is either done *before* or *after* combat, not during.
Stimpatch is, of course, the exception that makes the rule. But then it
stipulates as much right on the card.
