Bingo! That last section is why one would do it. It's not about doing
unto others...it's about covering your own tail as only one shady manager
can be played on a player at a given time...consider it insurance....

As Loki pointed out though, in a Shady Manager war, all it takes is a Elven
Hitman or Even Steven (if you don't have one, a Friend-Of-A-Friend seems to
do the job pretty well if your opponent has an E.H. in play...) I actually
watched a couple of people I play with get in a mini-war over Shady
Managers. More S.M.'s died in that game than Runners! ;-)
