I've been playing that you need to face them seprately.

I don't think you could technically do both. ;)

I'ld imagine he would go to your hand as the Requirement of Hell House is
that the Runner needs to be trashed, and Mugsy's ability circumvents
the outcome of being trashed...

I guess it really is a matter of which special text takes precidence, but
I'ld think that giving it to the one with a percentage chance first would
be the fairest way to handle it.
