The best strategy of found for players using this tactic (Tony?
Skwaarks + Hand Razors + Cermak/Hive/Urban/Wake ring a bell? ;o) is to
take the objectives first.
I was suprised when I started putting together the UGE Unlimited deck
how four or so bodies of 4/5/6 were able to handle the damage. It
doesn't take much to beef the attack value (Uzi III, Taser, Baseball
Bat or a Vindicator if you're feeling saucy). Canonball, Drake, Ro-jin
all have stamina. And these guys all run cheaper than the brutes,
they'll come out quick too. UGE Unlimited has playtested suprisingly
fast. Don't forget elves and dwarves rock with their race locations.
Caves of Halferville and Tir Tairngire make them cheaper and/or give a
threat rating bonus 2/3 of the time.
A couple each of CoP, STNC, or Reinforcements can be a suprise to a
bully player who figures he'll be wading through morphing challenges.
He's going for Wake the Dead and CoP points him to Harlequin's where
you have a Booby Trap, Incubus, LSBC or some other fun thing waiting.
Sure the card has to be in your hand. But a couple of CoP's, a STNC, a
Reinforcements and a NWO in with your special mix guarantees you'll
have something fun to toss out on of the times the bullies run on what
they figure will be a gimme. Toss in a couple of LotI to counter
there's if they come out. ;o)
BTW anyone else think the bloated zombie should possibly give out
virus tokens? :ob
