Unfortunately, players are usually JUST as idiotic. Only because people in
our area knew our group thru Magic have we been able to spread other games.
I tried showing the 40 or so Magic players up here L5R & Shadowrun... not
ONE of them gave me an answer other than "I don't have money for another
game" or "I don't have time for another game." By the end, I just felt
like screaming "You f---ing losers, you're playing MAGIC!!!! If you only
have money for one game try a game with some consistent judging and
honorable players and a rules system that makes f---ing sense some
time!!!!" But I didn't. :-) Maybe I should have.
