Your Rigger/Shaman must be present in a SR to use the drone/spirit and
yes, he can use his skills to sleaze challenges. The only difference
between any runner and a Rigger/Shaman using drone/spirit is that the
runner cannot add his attack value, but he sure can be damaged in a run.

In fact, the only runners that can participate in a run and be safe in
the safehouse are deckers and runners with inderect fire. Those runners
cannot be damaged in any way by Challenges/Objectives, but their skills
cannot be used to sleaze challenges.
