talks of Maria Mercurial and the lameness of Bodyguards cropped up on
the list recently.
First the Rocker stuff. Guru point to the first player who guesses
where the first four come from:
WHISPERING WIND / Lead Vocalist (Rocker) / 6Y
2/3. Human. Fame-2. Social-1.
Turn to heal target Mercenary.
WILDFIRE / Ganger Rocker / 6Y
2/3. Elf. Street-1.
When Wildfire is deployed, search your deck for target Street Location
and deploy it at no cost. If Wildfire is trashed, target Location is
trashed as well.
(Yes, I know there's a Lone Star Runner with the same name.
Coincidence, or did this guy go legit?)
BAMBI / (Drummer) Rocker / 6Y
4/4. Troll. Fame-1.
2Y: Place a Wolf token on Bambi. You may trash a Wolf token from Bambi
to give him +2/+2 until the end of the phase. Bambi may hold up to two
Wolf tokens.
COYOTE / Rocker / 5Y
3/3. Amerindian/Human.
Turn to give target Rocker Fame+1 until the end of turn.
2Y: Turn to give target Amerindian Runner +1/+1 until the end of turn.
DARKVINE / Prime Runner: Rocker / 4/1Y
2/2. Elf; Unique. Fame-2. While Darkvine is the top card of your
trash pile, any player may pay his deployment cost to put him into play
under their control.
SORAYAMA / Contact / 4Y
When Sorayama is deployed, search your draw pile for target Rocker.
Deploy that Runner immediately at no cost.
THE COBALT MARIE / Location (Street) / 3Y
May only be used once per turn.
Turn and frag a Runner you control to put a Cobalt Marie token into
play. A Cobalt Marie token counts as a 5/5 Runner with one skill of
your choice. Cobalt Marie tokens may not use Gear cards.
(Sort of a lesser Genetics Lab, and it has nothing to do with Rockers,
sorry.)
I NEED IT YESTERDAY! / Stinger / 0Y
Play during another player's turn. Target Runner may visit a Location
or Contact.
THE GREAT GIG IN THE SKY / Stinger / 0Y
Frag X Rockers in your trash pile to add XY to your Credstick.
"I see Hendrix! Lennon! Darkvine!"
HOUSE PARTY / Special / 0Y
Turn three Rockers you control that did not use Fame this turn. No
player may make a shadowrun until your next turn.
(A limited effect Block Party, with its own way of enforcing a cost.)
And the Bodyguard stuff:
LOWBALL / Bodyguard / 5Y
4/4. Dwarf; Unique. Guard. Firearms-1, Stealth-1.
While Lowball is unturned, all defenders in Runner-vs-Runner combat gain
+0/+1 (A+1).
REEF / Runner: Bodyguard / 7Y
5/6 (A1). Troll; Firearms-2, Melee-2. Select a Runner you control when
Reef comes into play. Turn Reef when target Runner enters
Runner-vs-Runner combat. Reef participates in the combat instead of
target Runner.
COVER ME! / Stinger / 2Y
Play when target Runner you control must defend in Runner-vs-Runner
control. Frag a Runner from your hand to add his Threat Rating to
target Runner's until the end of combat.
STREET LORD / Special / 3Y
Play on target Runner. This Runner may not be targeted by Bounty
Hunters or Wanted cards.
"You go with the Don's blessing."
And to top things off:
THWAP! / Stinger / 0Y
Play whenever target player plays a card at an inappropriate (non-legal)
moment, or reveals a card from his hand without playing it. Target
player loses 1 Reputation. Gain 1 Reputation.
