I can't say there's an actual list or application process you go
through.

My involvement in playtesting both the SRTCG and SRRPG came in the
form of personal invitation for the DLOH's for the two game lines.

I'll be the first to say I got lucky. I was able to cultivate working
relationships with Mike Mulvihill and Steve Kenson through alot of
opportunist pestering at Gen Con '97. (Isn't that how you'd describe
it Bull? ;o) I got to know Jim Nelson by hangin' around the artist's
booth at GC during down time. Skuzzy was really a chance encounter
during the GC'97 SRTCG demo's when he placed a "wager" of
then-unreleased promo cards on a game I was playing. From there, it
was a matter of staying in contact, pitching in to get this emailing
list going, and alot of open communication with the DLOH's.

I can't give you any special formula for getting a foot in the door.
Prior to my connections at GC'97, I'd say I built a foundation by
being an active member on ShadowRN (SRCard didn't exist yet) and the
ol' friend-of-a-friend networking cliche.

FASA's always open to feedback and input "from the masses." That's
part of what I like about the company, the DLOH's are very openly just
one of us.
