I can't really say that I know of any real process for it either...

Like Loki, mine came from both Mike M. and Mike N. personally. I consider
it great luck, more than anything, though I think part of it is partly that
I'm somewhat involved with FASA on the Convention level now (Be REAL
careful what you tell a Company Rep at a con... You may just get what you
ask for or offer :))

I've also talked with Mike and sent him several proposal ideas that, while
they haven;t been used, have at least gotten my foot in the door, so to
speak.

I'll say Loki got real lucky on this one... I didn;t manage to get in
quite as good with the card and art crew at the time, though I did have a
nice little chat with Laubenstein :]

Same here... I also really started talking with Mike Mulvhill through
private E-mail when I started up my Star Wars Mailing List... Mike asked
me about it, and even joined up for a little while, till work got to
hectic. He also apparently bought me for a Quarter (25 cents) at Origins
from some friends, when i coudn;t make it last year...:]

And no, we're not getting paid to say these things :]
