Ok, this actually makes a whole lot of sense. Now, I don't think it's a
lame ruling. Well, not too lame, anyways. If you are going to spend
that kind of money, you should be able to get some kind of return
other than a (possible) successful objective.

Ok, what I missed (or it wasn't there) was that each player can put
challenges on any revealed objective. I thought that only the player
that played the objective could play challenges on that objective.
