Interesting. Can you give me more details on what happened? For
instance, did the Troll player wait with putting Challenges on his
opponentīs Objectives so he had a chance to intercept? How where the
Wanteds used? Where GAQs used freely or only on specific occasions?
As Iīve said earlier, I won 7 of 8 games (6 of 6 full-time). One of my
opponents, a more experienced player than myself, was playing a Shaman
deck heavy on Ally and Protective spirits, and he didnīt score one Rep
point in three games we played.
By my experience, the Troll deck mostly relies on the ability to
intercept its opponent, and on using the Bulldog Van. Of course, its
generally a BIG mistake for the Troll player to go on protected
Objectives of his opponent (have you guys done this in your games?). I
usually try to make an early run on an unprotected Objective (if I can
survive the interception and still have an unturned runner in my
safehouse to intercept the possibly unprotected other Objective). This
forces my opponent to either intercept with a possibly vital Runner or
to give me the Reputation. I attack the Runners he uses to sleaze (if
thatīs his kind of deck), specifically those which I know are able to
sleaze my Challenges, with Wanted. Then I GAQ his most useful Runners
when he goes on a Run. ---Felix
