Just an opinion, but I'd like to see some kind of down side. I would personally
lower the cost of the Armor enhancement to be 3 also, and add a D6 for both abilities.
I find it hard to like any location that doesn't have a possible downside (IE:
Shadowland),
so this is what I'd do with the D6:

1: Oops, the lab screwed up, trash gear card
2: No effect
3+ The melee weapon gets a +1 damage and is now armor piercing OR the armor gains
an additional A+1 and treats AP damage as normal damage.
