<< Hey all.

I was just pondering the state of the game and these two thoughts came to
mind:

1) Isn't the theory of promo cards supposed to be that they are
"Promotional" cards? That is, they promote the game and thus are available
prior to the release of a given game to pique peoples' intererest in the
upcoming release? :) (I'm mentioning this because the first Underworld promo
card wasn't even really available until 2 months after its release).

2) The "2nd Run" has been postponed with no mention of how long or why.
Does anyone have any information on what is happening with the 2nd Run?

3) Corp Wars is still slated for release in July (once again, according
to the FASA website). Does anyone have any information or knowledge
concerning the cards in this set? Are there going to be promos?

Thanks. >>

Hello back to you.

1) yes the theory is that promos are to PROMOTE the upcoming product, but what
the hey the are very cool cards so I allow a little slack, (IMHO) but I wish
that if Fasa is going to post the release dates accurately, the closest on so
far was almost a month off, I don't know when I'll see the others.

2)Not that my info is correct but I heard rumors that 2nd run is postponed to
around july or so. Why? it seems that they were coming across lots of
roadblocks in trying to cure the text conflicts, and as those guyz at Fasa are
good at they would rather make us wait for a while longer in order to put out
a product that is at least a little closer to what they promised if not better
than before.

3) So far Corp Wars is stated as being around 90 cards, (so you should be able
to get a complete set from one box.) and yes there are going to be promos, but
how many and when has not been stated, there will also be promos for 2nd run.

hope this helps and is accurate, if not please by all means correct me.
