I fooled around with the idea once (it's on my webpage somewhere). A
couple cards are key to running with the idea:
- Loaded Dice. Duh. :) Anything that helps turn it from a
one-in-three chance to something better is obviously in strong demand.
- Mr. Johnson. You'll be fragging a lot of Runners, so you better be
sure to have some way of getting them out when you need them.
- More cheap Runners than you can imagine. I tend to run with an
all-human deck, full of cheapies like Static and Sancho, who are still
usable when I finally decide to go running. Since Underworld, it's been
slowly mutating the deck to include Tommygun, Mugsy, Cement Shoes and
Shakedowns. No running at all until I finally get rid of all my
opponent's Runners.
Alternately, the Yaks are a strong second combination, given limitless
Tenakas, a few Jades, and Poison and Shurikens to use as well.
- Genetics Lab. There's a risk attached, but it means you can frag a
Runner who's not really a Runner. Better Offer works along similar
lines, but you tag out two of your opponent's Runners.
- Saeder-Krupp. Basically, everything gets fragged. Sort of an
anti-game combination.
More when my brain gets back online.
