This assumes that Skwraaawk gets turned at some point - and that Jade
doesn't get Riotsed. If you're gonna try and turf Skwrk this way, I'd
use Cyber-psychosis -- cheaper, and (assuming Skwrk only has -1 Essence)
more likely to kill him quicker -- 33% per turn, v. a guaranteed kill in
five turns. Also keeps on happening in case you need Jade to do
something else (or if she gets whacked in retribution).

I've always played it that it sticks around. Yeah, it's nasty.
Actually looking at the card for a change, I can see how it'd swing
either way.
