Yeah, I have the same problem.

You should take some of the less exellent mages and shamans out to add skill
and muscle, even if only a little. I find that ten-twelve type runners of a
theme or themes and ten-eight runners of a general usefull variety is the
best mix

>(Gear 41)

??? Way too much! Even for a mage deck, I woud say that you should have a
1:1 runner:gear ratio, and even that's probably too high.

Take it out

>Armor Spell x2

Take it out, you've got 2 Bullet Barriers, that's more than enough armor

>Astral Sense x2

Huh? I don't see this card as being overly usefull, but maybe that's just me

>Bolt Of Power x2

Fireball?

>Bullet Barrier x2

Good

>Detect Enemy x2

Wouldn't recon be better?

>Elemental x2
>Fireball x2

>Heal x2

Why? You've got 2 Hawkwinds, and this spell is almost useless

>Heckler Spirit x2
>Invisability x2

Good stuff

>Jinx Spirit x2
>Jinx x2

Why both? if there is a good reason, try one of each

>Protective Spirit x2

Good

>Ram Spell x2

Useless Alert!

>Watcher Spirit x2

Good, good

I like to go highlander for challenges, the only repeat in my deck is a pair
of maglocks, that way sleaze requirements and effect is far more varied and
difficult to get through. I would recommend this except for cmbos, for which
I would indeed add some extras of a challenge or two.

Hmm... You have repeats of everthing. There is two of almost every card in
your deck, why not just divide it in half, and that way, you'll be more
likely to draw your rarer cards like tempest.

In all seriosness, what I would do with this deck would be to remove all
duplication, and add some variety, except a couple cards like Slep,
Invisibility and Hawkwind, of course. That way you would have plenty of room
for rockers, and Specials/Stingers.

Even if you don't intend to keep it that way, I would suggest giving it a
try, and let me know about the results.
