I asked FASA Mike this at GC'97, and he said the lack of race for Fastjack is
intentional.

Throughout source books and SR novels, no race has ever been pinned on FJ. In
fact, no one has ever met him "in the flesh."

When I pointed out to Mike that the picture shows the top of FJ's ear to be
rounded, he simply smiled and said "who says that's Fastjack posing for the
picture?"
