That makes absolutely no sense to me. It leaves it completely open to abuse and
interpretation. As you pointed out, the Cherry Bomb question. As per the Lone Star
Lockup ruling, runners in a location when it is trashed are also trashed. That would make
the Iron Lung and Fuchi the worlds most dangerous places. Imagine sending your 6 deckers
to Fuchi, your opponent pays 5 nuyen on his turn and BOOM, no more deckers.

Now imagine this situation: you send Thrash to Dante's Inferno, and he takes two points of
damage. You now have Hawkwind with Biotech. Because Biotech specifially says that the
runner must be with the Bioteching runner, you wouldn't be able to Biotech Thrash.

Oh, also, for those of you that were talking about if a runner has to turn during
Shadowrun declaration in order to provide indirect fire, I give you the exact quote from
the Fasa FAQ:

<snip>
INDIRECT FIRE (Gear Keyword-This is not a card)

If a Runner is assisting a shadowrun from the safehouse using Indirect Fire, should he be
turned when the shadowrun is declared?

No. He is turned when he begins using Indirect Fire.

<end snip>

The same would apply for Deckers, I would think, since they are all basically using
indirect fire.

Oh well, enough rules lawyering, I tossed FASA an e-mail asking about the
location/contacts question. This would be a very very important ruling.
