(Thats fine if you wish to play that way) but the plain vanella rule is
that to beging your turn, if you do not have an objective out, play one
FACE DOWM. If you start your turn with an upside-down objective, turn it
face UP.
This gives both players a chance to place challenges.

By the way, if you get hit by a sucker run, the new challenge come into
play FACE DOWN! (or so says FASA)

Correct!

Thats an interesting way to do it, and I don't know if I can invision it...
but if it works for you FINE!
I play with my objective stack just above my reserve deck.. then when one
of my objectives is taken, we trash any remaining challenges on it, and on
my next turn I play (WITHOUT LOOKING) a new objective from my objective
pile to its place in the middle of the table face-down.
