H'm. The only card that forces a player to discard, really, is the
Voiceprint ID Scanner. The Amerind expansion includes the Quetzlcouatl,
which offers a player the chance to discard, but doesn't force anything.

Discarding your entire hand. Still strikes me as pretty powerful,
especially depending whether the card could be played as a Stinger or
not. Even if its just played as a Special, that means you go pretty
much untouched for your next shadowrun phase (turning every Objective
into Harlequin's Game). The chance to refill your entire hand, after
all, only comes once during your turn, and has its own consequence: you
also stifle that player's income.

It's not *overly* powerful because there are ways of getting more cards
during your own turn (Iron Lung) and other players turns (Highbrow) but
those both have to stay in play, and still have a cost to pay. So while
I think the idea is solid, it definitely needs a strong twist.

Since I'm currently working on the Amerindian Expansion (I'll just call
it AEX from now on), how about a card like:

SNAKE HANDLER / Contact / 3¥
Trash Snake Handler to force target player to discard a random card from
his hand.
At the beginning of target player's turn, you may frag Snake Handler to
force target player to discard his entire hand. Target player gains 1¥=

for each card trashed this way.

On reflection, that's a bit weak, though. How do you think it might be
improved?
